Watching the weather

The text from the latest IPCC report on implications for Australia’s climate is woven with images of the environment it is describing. The predictions of this fifth assessment report of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change), published in 2013, are already revised because the incidence is rising far more rapidly than the predictions.

This work is about lived experience in Wagga Wagga where these predictions create varied responses and the big picture is far from clear. It's in Past/PRESENT, an exhibition with Thea Weiss opening at Wadsworth Gallery in Paddington on March 14.
